Vinblastine is a drug used in the treatment of cancer. It interferes with the multiplication of cancer cells and slows or stops their growth and spread in the body.

• Low blood counts
• Nausea & vomiting
• Tingling, numbness of fingers or toes
• Thinning of hair

• Watch your temperature; call the doctor if above 101
• Report any burning or stinging at the needle site to the nurse
• Report any tingling or numbness of the fingers and toes to your physician
• Drink plenty of liquids
