Decadron

    Other Name: Dexamethasone

    Purpose:

    The purpose of Decadron is to help control and/or prevent nausea and vomiting. Decadron is also used to help decrease swelling or inflammation.

    How It is Given:

    Decadron can be given orally, or intravenously.. Be sure to follow the instructions on the label. Take the Decadron pills with food.

    Side Effects:

    The possible side effects of Decadron are:

    • Increased Appetite
    • Trouble Sleeping
