    Purpose:

    The purpose of Darvon is to relieve pain.

    How It is Given:

    Darvon is given by mouth in tablet form. Be sure to follow the instructions on the label.

    Side Effects:

    The possible side effects of Darvon are:

    • Drowsiness
    • Dizziness
    • Confusion
    • Headache
    • Sedation
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Constipation (see Laxative Protocol)
    • Anorexia
    • Rash
