Compazine

    Other Name: Prochlorperazine

    Purpose:

    The purpose of Compazine is to help control and/or prevent nausea and vomiting.

    How It is Given:

    Compazine can be given orally, intravenously, or rectally. Be sure to follow the instructions on the label. You will be given Compazine pills to take home after your Chemotherapy.

    Side Effects:

    The possible side effects of Compazine are:

    • Restlessness
    • Drowsiness
    • Agitation/Jittery
