Ativan

    Other Name: Levazepam

    Purpose:

    The purpose of Ativan is to help control anxiety, nervousness, tension, sleeplessness; and to help prevent nausea.

    How It is Given:

    Ativan can be given orally or intravenously. Be sure to follow the instructions on the label.

    Side Effects:

    The possible side effects of Ativan are:

    • Drowsiness
    • Dizziness
    • Hallucinations
    • Dry Mouth
