Genealogy.
- The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)

immigration lists, etc. Plan on spending a lot of time navigating through the

- Family History Centers
You should try to rent microfilm through the Mormon Church (LDS)
Family History Centers (FHC); service is good and inexpensive. Many of the records of the National Archives are obtainable
through the LDS (rental only but at a lower cost and shorter waiting period). In addition the LDS has extensive holdings on
microfilm of county, state vital records and newspaper archives. If you are
looking for birth, marriage, and death records of ancestors your local Mormon
Church Family History Center has an index on CD for church records for
various towns in the Slovak Republic.
