How to disable email scanning in Panda Platinum AntiVirus software. 1. Down by the clock in the task bar in the lower right hand corner of the screen, there is a little Panda head. 2. Right Click on the head, and then from the list select "Configure Permanent Protection" This will bring up a screen with three sections on it. 3. One for virus scanning, one for "Permanent Mail Protection" and one for the firewall that loads with Panda if you so choose. 4. The section titled "Permanent Mail Protection" is the one we need to worry about. 5. In this section it says: "Allows you to configure the properties of the permanent mail protection and block Internet addresses and services" and then there is a check box than says "enable". 6. Simply remove this check.
