1. Open Outlook Express then click on Tools> Options> Connection Tab 2. Remove the check from "Hang up when finished sending or receiving" then click Apply 3. Then click OK...That should stop Outlook Express from disconnecting when you check your mail. Note: You may have to check this setting after you do your windows updates. The updates like to change this setting back to it's default setting.
